Upon graduating from medical school in 1982, Dr. Jeannette Graf launched a distinguished career as a board certified, clinical and research dermatologist that includes prestigious academic appointments—Dr. Graf is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY—as well as a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health where she won the Award for Outstanding Achievement for her Breakthrough research on peptides. Dr. Graf has also been recognized for excellence in education with the 2011 Mount Sinai Medical Center Teacher of the Year Award.
Among her many achievements, Dr. Graf is the author of the best-selling book, STOP AGING, START LIVING (New York: Crown Books, 2007), which focuses on her revolutionary 2-week pH diet for overall good health, vitality and glowing skin. Dr. Graf is published in peer-reviewed science and dermatology journals; lectures internationally to both plastic surgeons and dermatologists, which includes training them in the use of cosmetic injectables; is actively sought after as a media resource, making frequent guest appearances on national, cable and news TV and radio programs; and is widely quoted in many top beauty and fashion magazines.
Additional professional activities include acting as a consultant for a number of pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies, including RXi Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-Derm, Medicis, Allergan, Merz/Bioform, Neutrogena and Aveeno. Dr. Graf is also an Advisory Board Member for RXi Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-Derm, Medicis, Nu-Skin, and Allergan. Dr. Graf also has a partnership in a company that sells the skincare line Dermatologic Solutions through HSN.
She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Society of Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Graf has been in private practice since 1990 in Great Neck, New York.
